Ashbourne House Guesthouse

We are a small guesthouse located close to Carlisle city Centre and just off Carlisle's bustling nightlife area - Botchergate.

The guesthouse is owned and run by Caron Archibald who has lots of experience, having run several very successsful Bed and Breakfasts. You can be assured of a warm welcome at Ashbourne House and we are ideally placed so that you can enjoy the Carlisle nightlife or simply have a quiet stay. Most people who have tried us tend to book again.

We are Visit Britain (English tourist Board) certified and have attained 3 stars, which reflects the high standards of cleanliness and quality.

All rooms have a T.V, & dvd player, coffee and tea making facilities, radio alarm clocks.Breakfast is a full english or simply toast or cereal if you prefer.Available at any reasonably requested time.We have facilities for showering etc.

We have all the required certificates and in particular the very important fire certificate. Smoke alarms,fire doors and extinguishers are fitted throughout.

Within Easy Walking Distance - Carlisle Castle, Cathedral and Park. Also close to Sands leisure centre and Carlisle Squash Club which has 5 courts, steam room and large gym.

We are also a WI-FI zone (wireless internet) just ask!
